I need some help...

I need to figure out where the best place or any place I would find Minnesota rental laws, tenant rights, laws for landlords, etc.

We have had some issues without our landlord before, but today was the last straw...

They are trying to sell the duplex we live in, so they have showings of it once and a while.
Makes sense.
Fine and dandy.
Except when those showings are unannounced.
I'm in bed.
In nothing but my underwear.
(Sorry, not a pretty picture to put in your head, but it's what makes the story.)
And the realtor walks into my bedroom!!!

She simply walks out.
Doesn't even shut my door all the way!
Continues to show the rest of the apartment!

Leaving me to fumble to put my glasses on...trying to figure out what the heck just happened!
I get my glasses on, get a little less groggy and call Bob, because by now they're out of the house.
Bob is PISSED.
He calls the landlord and the landlord says "Sorry, I thought I told you about this showing"
NO, YOU DIDN'T! DO YOU THINK I WOULD HAVE STAYED IN BED NAKED IF I HAD KNOWN SOMEONE WAS GOING TO WALK IN ON ME?!

So, anyways. If anyone knows where I could find out what our options are on this one that would be AMAZING! Simply AMAZING!

SHE'S HOME!

Our new little girl is finally home!

Like I said before we had to patiently wait a few days to bring her home.

She was getting spayed on Monday, that's why we couldn't take her home right away on Friday when I fell in love with her.

I brought her home on Tuesday afternoon.

Her name is Ghita.

Isn't she beautiful...

Do you know how hard it is to get a 12 week old kitten to sit still for a photoshoot?!
So, they're not amazing pictures. They show you her adorableness all the same!

She seems to be doing well in her new home with her new siblings.
Gidget (the one who doesn't like people) and her are already playing and getting along well. Growling/hissing are minimal and only happen when the Ghita gets a little too excited attacking Gidgey when she's not feeling playful.


Ginger (the lover of everyone) on the other hand is not taking the addition of a new sibling so well. She's growling at every glance and hissing any time she's within a few feet. We're not too worried though, because she acted this same way when we brought her home and she met Gidget. It took a little while, but Ginger and Gidget get along wonderfully now! Cuddling, playing and grooming each other like best buddies.

My sis-in-law (not technically, but might as well be) Amanda and I went to a Japanese Sushi place the other day. I have to admit, I was scared to death! I was scared that there wasn't going to be any food that I would dare eat!

It was actually REALLY good!

I am SOOOO glad I decided to go with her!

The tempura sweet potato rolls were A.MAZ.ING!

Seriously people...you NEED to try them!

The avacado rolls needed something a little more firm in the middle, they were a bit chewy.

The asparagus rolls were good. The only thing is I don't like the seaweed on the outside, so after one or two it got too fishy tasting for me. I think I must have like a SUPER sensitive palate to fish taste or something.

Amanda said all of hers were good.

The spicy tuna (top left) were her favorite.

The restaurant is actually in the same city as the precious little girl I get to pick up today. Soooo...I think I just might have to get some sushi to go today when I got get her!

Patiently Waiting.

I'm not-so-patiently waiting for Tuesday to get here.

Because when it does...

This little beauty gets to come home with us!!!

She is waiting at the animal shelter to be spayed on Monday.

Then come home to her new family on Tuesday!

Etsy, addiction and me.

The past few days I have been addicted to Etsy...like sickly addicted.
Disturbingly addicted.
I have been staring at all the amazing things.
For HOURS.
And, of course, I made a few purchases...

First, this amazing little clutch.

I have been obsessed with iced herbal tea the past few weeks and needed something to put them in for in my purse. I just received it in the mail yesterday.

It works perfectly!

I also just received my new checks and I needed something new and pretty to put them in, obviously...

My sunglasses usually just roll around in my purse getting beaten up and scratched.

Soon, they'll be in this beauty!

With all these new fun accessories for inside my purse...I figured I needed a new purse to put them in! I can't wait until it gets here! I can't wait for all of it to get here!!! : )
